If you’re interested in becoming a Local Leader of Maths Education for the Matrix Maths Hub, you can start your journey by participating in one or more of the NCETM’s centrally-run professional development programmes. All programmes are fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme so are free to participants and their schools.
The deadline to apply for 2026/27 is 5pm on 23rd April 2026.
Here are a few pointers to help you choose the right programme for you:

Is your school part of the Primary Teaching for Mastery Programme? If so, you are ideally placed to apply for the Primary Mastery Specialist Programme. This programme supports individuals to develop and embed expertise in leading maths pedagogy and knowledge of how pupils learn maths.
