An exciting new NPQ in Leading Primary Maths is being launched and will start February 2024.

This is a brand new NPQ programme for Maths Leads, as well as any aspiring leaders of maths. It will enable you to build on and embed mastery approaches to teaching maths in your setting, as well as supporting you to lead your staff to teach maths effectively, working collaboratively with senior leaders and teachers.

This programme builds on participants’ knowledge of teaching for mastery, for example through your prior participation in the Maths Hubs’ Teaching for Mastery programme

You’ll learn how:

• pupils learn, so you can develop systems which help children

• to create a culture of high expectations to support teachers

• to design maths curriculums and develop leadership skills to help you introduce them

You’ll also learn techniques to help you support your teachers in maths
