This is a Research and Innovation Work Group (RIWG) which will enable teachers to effectively use, edit and create resources using technology to aide students with their conceptual understanding.
The aim is to increase confidence and understanding of the effective use of Technology within Secondary Mathematics education.
What is involved?
We will be looking at how digital and interactive representations may be used in and out of lessons to help students’ understanding. Sessions will include practical guidance on creating, editing and using online tools, information on the importance of manipulatives in conceptual understanding and discussions on the appropriateness of technology in learning.
Who can take part?
Mathematics teachers of KS3-5.
Benefits

What is the cost?
The programme is fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme, so is free to teachers in state schools.
